Let´s start with the MM-style pickups.

MM-style pickup 4 or 5

  • Dual-coil Humbucker
  • hum cancelled (rwrp wound)
  • copper shielded and soldered to the ground
  • two epoxy coats
  • fully shielded 4-wire cable (AWG 26)
  • magnets (optionally used)
    • Alnico5 pole pieces, Alnico5 blades (magnetized between 60-75 mT=600-750 Gauss) or neodym magnets (alternatively)
    • Ferrite (ceramic pole pieces)
    • Ferrite bars with FeSi-blades
  • polyurethan (180) enamelled copper wire (AWG 40 to AWG 44)

soapbar-style pickup 4 or 5

String-spacing doesn´t matter anymore due to the processed FeSi-blades

P-Bass split-Coil 4

As I don´t use – single magnets string-spacing doesn´t matter anymore due to the processed FeSi-blades

  • Split-coil Humbucker
  • hum cancelled (rwrp wound)
  • copper shielded and soldered to the ground
  • two epoxy coats
  • fully shielded RG 174 (extremly low capacity)
  • magnets
    • Ferrite bars with FeSi-blades
  • polyurethan (180) enamelled copper wire (AWG 40 to AWG 44)
